This is a Large Size N
ylon head hammer available with a 5” head length and a large 2-1/2” face.
The weight of the hammer is 12oz. used in forming and shaping soft and precious metals- sheet metals without marring. The nylon head face tapers from 2-1/2" to 1-3/8" diameter, at the smaller opposite end, both faces are slightly bowed.
This plastic nylon hammer works well when working with precious metals soft non-ferrous metals for raising, shaping and forming domes and spheres. Hammer is non marring, being plastic which helps keep metal surface from scratches when forming.
